Philippine Cell Phone Prefix Access Codes
There are numerous cell phone service providers in the Philippines such as PLDT SMART, Globe Telecom, and Sun Cellular, and each of them are assigned different cellphone prefix codes. Yes, the country code of the Philippines is +63, and although most of the local mobile phones here begin with 09, the actual international phone number format should start with +639…
So if a cell phone number in Manila is 0918-1234567 the long format is +639181234567.
Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, here are the different prefix access codes:
SMART
0907
0918
0919
0920
0928

Now that you know which provider handles which access code, you can choose your SIM card wisely. For example, if most the people you contact are using Sun Cellular numbers, then it will be better for you to also get a Sun SIM, because you can save on SMS text and voice call charges.
very nice info. this is very beneficial too to some people who are bombarded with prank calls! i’ve been a target of that…

Ang tintandaan ko lang naman d’yan ay ‘yong pang-apat na numero sa labing-isang numero ng mga mobile number e.
Hal. 091[9]xxxxxxx.
Kapag 0, 1, 8, at 9 ay Smart/ TNT;
(meron na ring 7 sa bagong Smart subscribers/users)
Globe/TM naman ‘pag 5, 6, at 7;
at Sun ‘pag 2 at 3.

Follow this simple formula for first four digits 09xy:
If y = 5 or 6 or 7 then Globe
If y = 2 or 3 then Sun
All others, Smart
4 is not yet used
Comment by macdoria — January 9, 2011 @ 9:51 pm
Sorry, this formula is no longer universal. Please proceed to wikipedia and search “philippine mobile number prefix.”
Comment by macdoria — January 9, 2011 @ 9:56 pm
OK, after checking Wikipedia, the formula is still valid with exceptions:
For area code 9xy,
If y = 2 or 3 then Sun except 973 or 974 Express
If y = 5 or 6 or 7 then Globe except 907 Smart
All others Smart except 979 Next
Comment by macdoria — January 9, 2011 @ 10:40 pm
Forgot one exception:
For area code 9xy,
If y = 2 or 3 then Sun except 912 Smart, 973 or 974 Express
If y = 5 or 6 or 7 then Globe except 907 Smart
All others Smart except 979 Next

some irregularities of numbers or callers came from the phone providers also….they are the only person who have the access to do that…or someone who knew in that company….i experienced one computer generated number who called me….and when i answered it gave me my bill for that particular provider….i think they used special number for that particular purpose to avoid mischief callers also or to save wages for call centers…or this is the way to escape comments suggestions from subscribers…

I need to correct someone…
They said “01163…” is not a Philippines number.
If you are calling FROM the USA/Canada you dial:
“+63…” from a cellphone/mobile phone BUT
if you are calling from a landline then you dial “01163…”
Calling from other countries besides the USA/Canada may require a 0 or 1 before the country code (e.g.- 063 or 163 for the Philippines).

Comment by rolly genson — March 11, 2012 @ 10:31 am
Rolly Genson,
That is a Magic Jack number. It’s an iphone app that allows you to call Canada and the US for free using only your internet connection. They used to sell Magic Jack kits for 2 thousand pesos, maybe 3 or 4 years ago. Calls drop unexpectedly because of poor internet connection (slow wifi, etc). Try asking your relatives in the Philippines (that is if you’re abroad), or vice versa, if they have Magic Jack.

011 is a country code. 011 is the Philippines. 001 is the U.S. For a U.S. 800 number you first dial 001 then the 800 + the 7 digit number. When I called a philippine vellphone from the U.S. I had to dial 011 63 904*** ****
